Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Escape to Your Personal Island Paradise

Escape to a deserted island and create your own paradise as you explore, create, and customize in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons game. Your island getaway has a wealth of natural resources that can be used to craft everything from tools to creature comforts. You can hunt down insects at the crack of dawn, decorate your paradise throughout the day, or enjoy sunset on the beach while fishing in the ocean. The time of day and season match real life, so each day on your island is a chance to check in and find new surprises all year round.

Show off your island utopia to family and friends—or pack your bags and visit theirs. Whether playing online* or with others beside you**, island living is even better when you can share it. Even without hopping on a flight, you’ll meet a cast of charming animal residents bursting with personality. Friendly faces like Tom Nook and Isabelle will lend their services and happily help you grow your budding community. Escape to your island getaway—however, whenever, and wherever you want.

• Build your community from scratch on a deserted island brimming with possibility
• Create your personal getaway and customize your character, home, decorations, and even the landscape itself
• Collect materials to construct everything from furniture to tools! Then, use what you create to give your island a personal touch
• Watch as the time of day and seasons match real life—even your hemisphere! Each day holds potential for surprises and discoveries
• Get to know the island residents, garden, fish, decorate, hunt for fossils, and more!
• Show off your paradise – play on the same system with a total of 4 people, or play together online or over local wireless for fun with up to 8 players

I'd like to know what jobs those llamas have as I think I'm doing it wrong given they can earn enough money to have a photoshoot every day for 30 days!

Or maybe they're getting a discount because the dog is too lazy to do his job

The male llama is very threatening if you decline buying any of his furniture

I've not even bothered going to see them as it looked boring and with no real reward. How're your turnip prices? I'm getting increasingly desperate!

Caught some ridiculous fish the other night - Great White, Arapaima and the Ocean Sunfish. Last one made me laugh like a little kid with how stupidly big it was.

Looks like I've got KK coming to the island tonight to play a gig. That didn't take long. Only just got the 4th extension to my house as well.

Two winter events are coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. These events are Turkey Day, which corresponds to American Thanksgiving, and Toy Day, which is inspired by Christmas and other winter gift-giving celebrations. These events will be added as part of a winter update coming later this month, which will be free to all players.

Turkey Day will take place on November 26. Professional chef Franklin the turkey will visit players' islands in order to craft a delicious dish to celebrate the season. Players can help Franklin by finding and bringing him the ingredients he requires, such as green and orange pumpkins. Then, they'll get to enjoy a tasty feast together with the other island residents!

Toy Day will be happening on December 24. Another special island visitor, Jingle the black-nosed reindeer, will request the players' help delivering presents to the other islanders. Will Jingle have presents for the players too - possibly in the form of cute seasonal furniture or household decorations? We'll just have to find out when Toy Day arrives.

In addition, a new reaction pack and hairstyle pack will be available to purchase using in-game currency Nook Miles. The reaction pack will allow players to snap a selfie, sit down, cheer with excitement, and even pretend to work out using their in-game version of the Ring-Con controller. Meanwhile, the hairstyle pack includes options requested by people of colour, including an Afro, dreadlocks, and curly natural hair. You can even rock a bald look!

Finally, Nintendo has confirmed that the update will increase in-game storage space - from 1600 to 2400 household items at one time. Last - and possibly most anticipated by fans - you will now be able to transfer your save data to another Switch. This is one of the most requested updates from fans and critics of the game both since New Horizons' release earlier this year.
