Got it last weekend, I have asthma so get it yearly.
I have to say, it was much more organised this year than usual - maybe because it was hospital staff and not our local medical practice that was dealing with it.
Did a few weeks ago. No special health risks in my case, just a history of flu triggering chronic sinus problems. Have not had the flu since I started getting the shot save for the year H1N1 hit before the vaccines were out here.
There's been shortages here this year, but my pharmacy was okay, at least was back then.
I got mine last Wednesday. The doctor had to make a house call for my knee but brought flu jabs with him. Saved me a whole lot of hassle arranging transport etc.
I've literally just had my jab at work today.. I do tend to try and get them every year as I'm quite a sickly person. They say having the flu jab doesn't help fight off the common cold - it does with me!
My arm is slightly sore but I'm currently at the end of a cold, so won't really be aware of other side-effects I wouldn't imagine.
