Ghost Recon: Breakpoint's Title Update 2.0.5 - which was targeting a June launch for PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One - has been delayed, developer Ubisoft Paris confirmed. The studio is now folding that patch into the larger 2.1.0 update that's supposed to arrive sometime in mid-July.

According to a recent developer update, the 2.1.0 patch will come with tons of game changes - some previously outlined in a roadmap the studio shared back in April. This includes various bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements, the next Gunsmith and PvP updates, any planned adjustments from Title Update 2.0.5 (including the DMR exploit), and more. Most notably, the 2.1.0 update will also include the release of AI squadmates, one of the game's most-requested features. Ubisoft said the decision to delay TU 2.0.5 and fold it into the 2.1.0 patch was because its developers are working from home now due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier this year, Ubisoft launched the "more radical and immersive" version of Ghost Recon Breakpoint on PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One. The free update brought in two new modes of play: the long-awaited Immersive Mode and Custom, which allows you to set the rules for your adventure.

Finally completed the main missions last night. That last mission, Brother vs Brother, took me forever to eliminate the behemoth - Walker wasn't much of a challenge after that which was quite disappointing.

Still got a lot of side missions to complete and just started on the mission with Sam Fisher.

Red Patriot, episode 3 of Ghost Recon Breakpoint, will be made available o September 15.


Title Update 3.0 is coming to Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and will introduce a number of new features, along with the Red Patriot episode.

It kicks off with Trey Stone asking a Russian separatist group and their agents to initiate attacks in the United States.

The Ghosts must put a stop to his plans, and over the course of the episode, you can expect a branching storyline with optional mission objectives.

A new class called Pathfinder will also be included. This class can control an Azrael drone via the Armaros Interface ability. They also have a tool called the Uplink Protocol, which refills their skill gauge.

Passive skills include Tactical Cache Identification which highlights caches; Scout Vision which produces white-hot thermal vision; and Wild Metabolism which makes it so rations last longer and are more powerful.

Ghost War PvP will get a new map, three new missions, and the Pathfinder adaptation, which will add three milestone missions and two rewards for completing achievements.

All Ghost Recon Breakpoint players will get access to two free Red Patriot missions, while Year 1 Pass owners will have access to all 10 missions.

Following the addition of AI Squadmates back in July and the reveal of the Pathfinder class and Red Patriot Adventure (revealed above), Ubisoft will deploy Title Update 3.0 for Ghost Recon Breakpoint today (September 15) for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Check out the full patch notes below.

  • Trey Stone has been working with Bodark agents to plan terror attacks on US soil. 10 Story Missions and 26 high-quality adventure rewards will be available along this adventure to kill all of those involved in Stone’s plan.
  • Two of the missions will be free for all players to enjoy, but players who have the Red Patriot Adventure or Y1 Pass will have immediate access to explore the remaining content. Y1 pass owners and Adventure owners can invite up to three friends to play through the missions with them. Rewards can be granted retroactively to those players who complete missions by picking up either the Red Patriot Adventure or Y1 Pass in the Store themselves.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint players can expect new content for the game to be released in the coming months.

According to the developers, players can expect updates based on feedback and a few surprises thrown in.

Surprises could mean new cross-over events such as the one with Rainbow Six Siege which occurred back in January.

“We will keep working to add more to the game and offer you all some exciting content for the months to come,” reads the statement. “We are designing the future of our game based on your feedback and throwing in a few surprises into the mix.

“We will be sharing more details about what is to come in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint in 2021 soon.”

The statement went on to say to expect a roadmap in the coming weeks.

Ubisoft has been working on the game since its release, slowly but surely making improvements to it.

Ubisoft has revealed its 2021 content roadmap for Ghost Recon Breakpoint, which includes two major title updates free for all players.

The two major title updates will feature new gameplay elements including customization, progression, and more.

Title Update 4.0.0, coming to players this spring, will focus on improving the player experience with AI teammates, including a new progression system, added customization, and more features requested by the community.

The Teammate Experience Update is focused on improving your experience with the AI squad, while also adding some community-requested features. You will discover a new XP progression for your AI squad, and unlock new passive skills and abilities as you play. A dedicated quest log will also be available for you to experiment with the new AI squad features while rewarding you with exclusive rewards.

Title Update 4.1.0 is set to be one of the “biggest operations so far,” and it will release in the fall. More details will be revealed later.

Ubisoft has announced when to expect the AI teammate experience to land for Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

An all-new AI teammate experience is coming to Ghost Recon Breakpoint as part of Title Update 4.0.0, and it launches next week on May 25.



Free for all players, the AI Teammate Experience update will consist of an all-new progression loop, allowing you to improve your AI teammates, earn rewards and unlock challenges to complete. You will then be able to level up your AI teammates, which will unlock tactical upgrades.

Teammates will now have a common Team Level and a common XP bar called Team XP which can be leveled up just by playing the game with AI teammates activated or by completing the Teammate Challenges.

To track teammate progression, you can find a new progression bar at the top of the screen, displaying XP gained, Nomad’s level gauge, and teammates’ level gauge.

Additionally, once teammates have leveled up, an animation will appear on screen, informing you of newly unlocked upgrades. There will also be 14 new challenges to complete, which will grant both Team XP and cosmetic rewards.

To upgrade and customize teammates, you will navigate to a dedicated menu. This shows teammate level XP, upgrades, and challenges. You can unlock 14 upgrades for AI Teammates. These include:
  • Three Active Abilities unique to each teammate including Piercing Shot, Scan and Combat Drone
  • Two Active Abilities shared across teammates including Extra Revival and Fragmentation Grenades
  • Nine Passive Abilities for increased damage or resilience
Title Update 4.0.0 will introduce the ability to adjust your squad with one, two, or three teammates, customize Rainbow teammates, hide AI teammates’ secondary weapon, and more.

Title Update 4.0.0 is the first of two updates announced as part of Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s Year 2 Roadmap. The other is Title Update 4.1.0, which is one of the “biggest operations so far,” and it will release in the fall.

Ubisoft has revealed the full patch notes for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s Title Update 4.0.0. This Update will be huge as it will weigh around 23GB.

Going into more details, this patch adds Teammates progression. Players will be able to progress their AI teammates and unlock new upgrades for them. This will be available to all players once they have unlocked their AI teammates through the onboarding.

Additionally, this patch will fix an issue where the game was crashing while processing long sentences when using the narrator accessibility feature. It will also fix an issue where players could experience a crash when loading one of their saves.

TEAMMATES PROGRESSION​

COMMUNITY REQUESTS​

  • Added an option to hide AI teammates' secondary weapon.
  • Added an option to control the size of your squad – activate and deactivate teammates individually (max number of 3). However, mixing Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege squad members is not allowed.
  • If one or more AI teammates are equipped with night vision goggles, they will follow Nomad’s lead: lowering or putting them back up when needed.
  • Added Ghillie hoods to offer full sets of Ghillie suits, these include Arcturus Ghost Hood, Crye Compact Assault Hood, Tree Leaves Ghillie Hood, and Arcturus Warrior Ghillie Hood.
  • Improved the compatibility of gasmasks in order to be compatible with multiple helmets. These include Avon M50 Gas Mask, Bulldog Gas Mask, Panoramic Gas Mask.

  • Added customization options for the Rainbow Six Siege teammates. The appearance and primary weapon can now be customized. The only non-modifiable options are their body features and their head accessories.

  • In Human Trial mission, fixed an issue where the objective wouldn't update if the Sentinel's boat was already placed at the end location.

  • In Guardian Angel mission, fixed an issue where Cromwell wouldn't spawn correctly.
  • In Rosebud mission, fixed an issue where the corpse present inside the house on the beach would disappear when players interact with it.
  • In Stealth Faction mission, fixed an issue were Ash would use grenade launcher on the truck, resulting in mission failing.
  • In Home Invasion mission, fixed an issue were the survivor could be found in different places other than the bunker he is supposed to be locked in.
  • In The Devil We Want mission, fixed an issue where the mission would fail if players knock the HVT.
  • In Drastic Remedy, fixed a bug in where the Leeway plane wouldn't collide with objects.
  • In the Legal Move mission, fixed an issue were players could finish the mission despite destroying the laptop.
  • In the A Man of Confidence mission, fixed a bug were Sergeant Kent would remain stuck on passenger seat of the truck if an AI teammate killed the truck driver.

PvP​

  • Fixed an issue where enemies would finish the climbing animation if they were killed while climbing the ladder.
  • Fixed an issue where the grenade symbol wouldn't appear on the cook grenade widget.

Vehicles​

  • Fixed an issue where headlights and taillights wouldn't light up on Blaze vehicle.

Weapons​

  • Fixed an issue where ASR extended magazine on MK17 Assault wouldn't be visible in game.
