The VAR decisions were poor though - very controversial to call offside on Mane for the Henderson goal.

Where is the offside here? I thought VAR was to rectify "clear and obvious" errors - where is the offside clear or obvious? Pre-VAR that goal stands every single time.

What a capitulation by Tottenham. Leading 3-0 with 8 minutes left and end up drawing 3-3.

Cracking strike by Lanzini for the equaliser.

Virgil Van Dijk could miss the rest of the season after being injured after a reckless challenge from Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford. Van Dijk has damaged the ACL in his right knee.

This would be a massive loss for Liverpool.

Huge blow for Liverpool.

The pressure is now on Matip, Gomez and Fabinho to play well and stay fit. With Allison out for another while and maybe Thiago too, Liverpool could be in for a rough ride this season - we saw ow Man City fell apart with a few keys players out injured last season.

This side of January Liverpool have City away and Spurs at home out of the "top" teams.

They can cope with Gomez and Matip but the huge issue is keeping Gomez and Matip fit which might not be so easy.
Neither play at the same level without Van Dijk. Gomez takes ages to get going after a while out. Matip is good but picks up injuries. Fabinho will get plenty of games there.

West Ham and Man City drawing 1-1. West Ham were leading 1-0 at half-time but Man City have stepped it up a little in the second half and found an equaliser but yet again a "big team" struggling

Is there the possibility that we could see a surprise winner of the Premier League this season?

Good point for West Ham. They were hanging on a bit at the end but that is two good points earned against Tottenham last week and Man City today.

This league, partly because of the weirdness created by Covid, could be anyones at this rate.
