Celtic suffered their earliest Champions League exit in 15 years after falling to a shock defeat at the hands of Ferencvaros in Glasgow.

It seemed Neil Lennon's side had recovered from David Siger's early goal for the Hungarian champions when Ryan Christie's deflected strike levelled the one-legged tie.
That was an absolute embarrassment but not a surprise tbh. Celtic are not a Champions League side and haven't been for years.

I'm with you on the not surprised part because it happens every year but there's no excuse for losing a game like that last night, they were shocking and should be beating them easily enough.

I get that Europe isn't a priority this year but results like this make it a lot harder to attract players and more importantly hold onto the good players they have.

I'd imagine if someone makes a decent offer for Edouard now Celtic have to consider it because of the loss in revenue and that Edouard will want to test himself at a higher level

Oh I totally agree, thought at 1-1 Celtic were in complete control but I've seen it all before. Lennon doesn't seem to know what to do in European games.

I also agree on Edouard, that's the biggest risk now.

I wouldn't anticipate too many surprises. I think United have got a tricky group but Leipzig without Werner should lack an edge as they did in the knockout rounds a few weeks ago. I think Group C is the hardest one to call. I expect City to top it but reckon it could be a tight battle as to who joins them. AVB going back to Porto will be fun. Disappointed Rennes got a tough draw as they've been quietly assembling a good squad, but can't see them qualifying ahead of Sevilla and Chelsea. Mendy will enjoy going back there. Think Liverpool will top their group, Ajax and Atalanta should have a good tussle for second place. Ronaldo and Messi will be box office.

I know they were missing a good few players but PSG were awful. Their midfield was terrible, Neymar just kinda strolls around wherever he feels like and is always too far away from goal, he has so much talent but I think the move to PSG killed what he could have been.
