Xbox Game Pass Quests has moved away from game-focused tasks and towards exploration of the large library across daily, weekly and monthly periods.
Our goal with the Quests program is to help you discover and try new games and be rewarded for playing the Xbox Game Pass games you love. We heard your feedback about improving Quests and making this a better experience while gaming, so you can now play any Xbox Game Pass console game to earn points. We’ll still have Quests around specific games, so Quests will continue to be a great way for you to discover games you may not have tried yet.
There are still quests specific to certain games but there will also be generic daily, weekly and monthly quests to complete that will earn players Microsoft Rewards points which can be used in the Microsoft Store.

To check new quests out on the Xbox One, head to Achievements > See all my Achievements > Compare Games > Stats. The Xbox Game Pass app is also available on iOS and Android devices and will be able to check via the Quests section of the app.

Hello Games' space exploration title No Man's Sky will be one of the latest additions to the growing catalogue of games available through the Xbox Game Pass subscription service. Launching on the Xbox One version of the service opens up a huge audience for No Man's Sky, as the subscription service has 10 million subscribers and counting. An exact release date for No Man's Sky on Xbox Game Pass has not been announced yet, but we know it's coming in June.

Additionally, Hello Games confirmed that No Man's Sky will be released on the Windows PC store. The game was already available on Steam, but this is the first time it'll be available on Microsoft's own store. A release date for the Windows 10 edition has not been confirmed.

There’s another batch of games coming to Xbox Game Pass before the end of the month.

Microsoft has revealed all the games dropping into Xbox Game Pass (PC and Xbox One) between now and the end of July. This bundle follows Fallout 76, Soulcalibur 6 and all the other games that made it in earlier this month.

It all kicks off on July 16 with 2D crafting game Forager (PC and Xbox). Mount & Blade: Warband hits Xbox One on the same day.

On July 23, Devolver’s Carrion, the reverse horror game where you play as the monster, releases on PC and Xbox One. July 23 also sees the release of Golf With Your Friends on PC.

Obsidian’s building/crafting action game hybrid, Grounded, hits PC and Xbox One on July 28. Finally, July 30 will see the release of three more games.

Headlined by Yakuza Kiwami 2 (PC and Xbox), subscribers can also look forward to Nowhere Prophet (PC and Xbox), and The Touryst (PC and Xbox).

And, in case you missed it, July already saw the release of the Ever Space 2 demo (PC), Halo 3 (PC), and this week’s indie rogue-lite Neon Abyss (PC and Xbox).
