Anastasia was born in Indiana and moved to Tucson, Arizona when she was 1 year old. After working in the music industry, she did 2 years of graduate school for architecture before interning in London and coming back to the US to work for an architecture firm. She then moved to New York and entered film and television under an apprenticeship from production designer Mark Friedberg.
