Jurassic World Dominion (2022) Movie Thread

This is getting atrocious reviews in many quarters - to the point where it's relatively rare for a well-oiled, ultra-safe Hollywood blockbuster to be singled out as particularly bad.

The series needs its own extinction event at this stage.

There's no spectacle to it anymore. You were never going to be able to replicate the moment from the original movie where they first see the dinosaurs.

Went to see it this afternoon.

It's poor. I mean it is not terrible, I've seen way worse, but for all the money and resources thrown into making something like this you'd expect it would be better. I lost interest after a while and it overstays its welcome by a good bit. Couldn't really differentiate this film from the previous one......which was also poor.

Sam Neill is very good though.

Went to see it last night. Pretty much what I expected - utter shite and hopefully now the final one in this franchise.

The lack of suspense in the whole movie is poor. You could tell what was going to happen. The script is poor but, hey, it's dinosaurs!!

So just saw this today. To be honest I was not going to bother and kinda wish I did not. The beginning is cheesy as fluck. The rest of the film is just terrible. I think it tries to do too much and appeal to too many that it just becomes a right inconstant mess as well as being at least 20 mins too long. It could have been brilliant but it's not.
