It'll be interesting to see if the new flexi wing rules impact McLaren. I'm not expecting much to change.

New technical directive kicks in this weekend.

Interesting to see if the less "flexy" front wing will slow down the McLaren at all.

Spain is a circuit that should suit the Red Bull, too.

Oscar Piastri delivered a final-lap performance to snatch pole position for the 2025 Spanish Grand Prix, edging out team-mate Lando Norris in a dramatic McLaren one-two.

Verstappen and Russell set identical lap times (1:11.755), but the Red Bull driver starts P3 after setting his lap earlier.

Carlos Sainz was eliminated in Q1 (P18), while Yuki Tsunoda brought up the rear in P20 after a disappointing session for Red Bull.

Great start from Piastri. Verstappen takes Norris and both Ferraris are past George 2

Daft strategy from Ferrari, they should let Leclerc through instead of them racing each other

All on different strategies, but I don't think Max is that far ahead considering how early he pitted. McLaren is just too good on the tyres, they didn't even lose that much time.

That's madness by Liam Lawson, could have been a big crash. Bear an did well to control his car.

Oh safety car surely hasn't worked out for Max. He is going be under serious threat surely on hards.

That should be a race suspension for Max. You can't deliberately drive into another car under any circumstances.

That was ridiculous from Verstappen, only seen the one replay but it looked like he just opened his steering into him.
