The Big Lebowski (1998) Movie Thread

I can't believe this is the first time I have got round to watching this, and I was unsure what to expect. I wasn't disappointed, nor did I feel its age, which, given it's from 1998, was impressive.

Such a quotable film and the way all of the characters interact and knit together is excellent. Lots of big names who all seem to have enjoyed the project.

Not much of a story, nor one which makes a great deal of sense, but then I don't think that's what it's really about. I'm pretty certain there's more to take from the film on a second watch and several things within it I've not picked up on, however, it's certainly made me think about how we approach life, and ultimately taking a little bit of 'The Dude' with you is far healthier than you might think.

On a side note, I found every single scene with Walter absolutely exhausting. Great performance by Goodman, though.

This is the Coen Brothers at their best. Great performances from Jeff Bridges, John Goodman and Steve Buscemi.

It's absurd, I've no idea what is going on, and it gets better every rewatch.
