CCleaner: Is There A Better Program? Technology

Hey folks,

I've been installing and uninstalling several programs lately, including one particular app that I had to reinstall multiple times. Now, my C drive feels cluttered and I'm keen to clean it up a bit.

I remember using CCleaner years ago, and I was thinking about giving it another go. But I've read some conflicting things—some people say it's fine, others say it can mess things up or that it's not as trustworthy as it used to be.

Does anyone know of a safer or more reliable alternative to CCleaner? Ideally, something that won't break my system or delete something important. I'd also appreciate general tips on how to keep Windows running smoothly.

If you're just cleaning up temp files and old registry entries, Windows' built-in Disk Cleanup or the newer "Storage Sense" feature might be all you need.
