Hopefully they have improved the CGI. In the early trailers the majority of the chase and action scenes looked like terrible CGI.

Watched it on Friday. I liked it, but Fury Road was better. More action and I was just more into it. Still good though.

I watched it on Imax and the sound and picture were great.

Finally got around to seeing this and honestly it's pretty disappointing.

The terrible CGI from the trailers is not just still here but smeared over nearly every shot. There's so much CGI that it's maddening - CGI dogs, CGI person getting on a horse, endless CGIi mushy backgrounds, etc. Which means the action scenes have no weight to them. The action is by far the worst of any Mad Max film. Hopefully, the black and white version I've read about can hide some of it.

Chris Hemsworth is easily the best thing about the film. Maybe the greatest villain in the series. Very charismatic, funny one liners, great design and of course stupid but also a radical changing force - Freedom hurts.

Story wise there is a sense of grand myth building which is good. I'm not a "lore" guy so finding out how Furiosa how she lost her arm isn't that interesting but seeing the history men and other parts of the Mad Max world was fun.

Ultimately it's still a Max Mad film so it has some great moments and a couple of incredible shots but overall a poor one.

Sheer escapism. Well worth the watching.

The action sequences are just spectacularly done and the world building is brilliantly executed. Hemsworth is great in this, plays the demented clown villain to perfection.

Saw it last night. Didn't think it was as good as Fury Road but still entertaining.

I thought it was really good although it doesn't quite reach the heights of Fury Road and Theron was a much better Furiosa.

Immortan Joe was a badass, his origin story could be a cool third movie.

Absolutely loved it. Just shy of Fury Road for me.
