GB News is the new News Channel.

Will it be the same old, same old, or will it be different?

Will it be a refreshing change from the BBC News Channel or the Sky News Channel?

Here's 2 promotional videos by GB News (GBN)

Both 5 minutes long.

Started on Sunday night.

A few sound / volume probs and the background livery could be a little brighter, but these are teething problems that I'm sure will be ironed out.

Content though, is, in my opinion, excellent..

We shall see over the weeks and months

Yes, I'm enjoying it so far, a nice change from BBC or Sky News.

It's a refreshing change, I agree. The content is fine.

On a tech issue though, I do find the volumes a tad low, especially on studio interviewees (not the presenter), outside broadcast, video interviews, pre recorded copy etc?

So far they seem to have allowed people from all sides to have their say.

They seem to have attracted some anger in that currently (take the beeb for example) the left have their say then they move on. GB News seem to have taken the left, centre and right and allowed them to speak, be questioned and allowed the viewer to make an informed choice.

I can understand how allowing the viewer to make up their own mind is troubling to some but it is a refreshing change!!

Why does an opposing view have to be a wing at all?

Intended audience? Anyone can tune in. It's up to the individual who watches and who doesn't.

Intended is only limited by the person, not the broadcaster.

The veteran newsreader Simon McCoy has become the latest senior figure to leave GB News.

McCoy is poised to leave in January for "personal reasons" with his morning slot on the rightwing news channel to be taken over by Eamonn Holmes and former Sky News newsreader Isabel Webster.
