In this article, we'll look at how to create consistent wealth in Football Manager 2022. Utilise these tips wisely, and you'll be making money in no time.
When it comes to running a football club, you need to do a lot more than you might have first imagined. And while FM 2022 does a fine job of giving you ways to delegate your needs, it does make it easy to do everything you might need.
With that being the case, it is highly recommended that you look at ways to bring in more income.
Whether it's to avoid a sell-off at the end of the season or try and bolster your kitty for a push for promotion/titles, here are some ideas to help you get some more money in the door ASAP.
Set up a levy of glamour friendlies

Most people use the old tactic of playing local sides and nearby smaller outfits to build up big belief in the team prior to the season starting. But if your aim is to build up income, you should look to book in as many 'glamour' ties as you can for the off-season.
While what defines glamour for each team will very much differ, you should definitely look to set up some glamour ties to get your team playing more 'big' names. The income can be great, and you can easily offset the morale of pre-season losses with a few real-season wins.
Create a strict bonus structure

Many of us just sift through the contract negotiations and give every player whatever they ask for. But it is vital that you spend that extra 5-10 minutes per contract being serious about bonuses. While they sound like a pittance on their own, the entire squad getting weekly bonuses will add up sharpish.
So, do yourself a favour and invest more time in contract structuring. Something like 1/5th of their wage for an appearance, and a bit more than that per clean sheet/goal/assist etc.
Maximise player values

When you have a player who you think could do you a shift for 2-3 games this season as a back-up, loan them out until January. If you need to recall them due to injuries, then fair enough. However, a short-term loan allows them to get games, improve, and get fattened up for the first-team action and/or a sale.
Keep that in mind, and you can make even role players far more valuable to your team than they are sitting in the reserves waiting for you to need someone to sit on the bench.
Become elastic with player trading

Many of us become hard-lined to certain players as we want them to be the face of the team. As nice as that is, you need to find a way to get the bills paid and your players on the pitch itself. So, get used to moving on players – actively moving them on – at the peak of their value.
Unless you manage one of the biggest clubs in the world, getting someone into three-figure appearances can be rare. Get used to moving them on at peak value; it's better for wealth generation and long-term building.
