Sean Penn was outstanding. That feckin walk 😅 He absolutely nailed it. He should win an award for this one. Penn steals every single scene he's in but it underdelivered a little on my expectations given the response from critics.

I liked this, good story, and Penn was just on another level. Had a few issues with the final chase sequence, but overall a very good movie.

Just breathtaking filmmaking. The first hour and a half was gripping and funny. The camera never stops moving, the music choices always spot on. Then the desert sequences elevated it even further.

I love when Paul Thomas Anderson turns his talents to this kind of kinetic storytelling as opposed to say Phantom Thread which was good but frustratingly slow.
