Jack Nicholson is mesmerising.

It was filmed on location in an actual mental hospital with some of the patients in bit parts. A rare chance to see Danny DeVito with a full head of hair. Louise Fletcher, as Nurse Ratched, is one of the great movie villains.

It is just a fantastic film. One of the rare times where I think the film is better than the book.
