The post is clear and expresses a genuine interest in understanding the value of Ultra HD, making it relevant to those in the community who have similar questions. However, it could benefit from a bit more detail about the user's current setup and experiences with HD.

Always see the ads popping up for Ultra HD on Sky Sports, but opinions online seem to be mixed.

Is it worth the upgrade for the few quid a month or is it wasted unless you have a decent bit of kit to get the best out of it?

If it's worth it, what type of setup would you need to make it a feasible difference between what you get on HD versus UHD?

I have a 4K Samsung TV but it's just a 43 inch basic LED one so relatively small and years old at this stage and I'm looking for any excuse to upgrade it. 😂

UHD is 4k. It's loads better. Obviously if you're miles from the screen you won't be able to tell the difference though.

You'll notice it more the bigger you go, so if you're looking for an excuse to upgrade to a 75 inch TV then do it.

It's better, more so for sport like the footy or F1. Clarity is noticeably better but it's subjective as to whether the price jump is worth it.

The UHD/4k channels seem to carry better audio too, like Dolby atmos, so if you've got a decent sound setup, factor that in.
