The budget on this is apparently 80 million. From those trailers that's an astonishing fidelity of the FX, for that money.

I've seen some reviews hoping this succeeding proves Hollywood to stop spending 300 million on crazy swings - but that'll depend on how well this does.

Saw this on Saturday. I knew nothing about it except it was getting good reviews. It really looks brilliant, but the story was a hodge podge of familiar themes.

Decent enough because of the visuals but also disappointing due to the plot.

I watched it yesterday. It was alright. A decent action romp. I think they could have done so much more with it, though. It would be anything from a 3/10 to a 7/10, depending on how much leeway you want to give, because there's plot holes and leaps of faith galore in this movie.

I watched The Creator last night....bit a car crash of a film. Visuals were nice, but the story was horrendous. Didn't like the action sequences either, honestly found it boring and predictable.

I love sci-fi too so it was a big disappointment for me.

It looked nice but the acting was mediocre, the script was awful, and the narrative a complete mess.
