Not doing anything for me. The Matrix was so original and groundbreaking and 22 years later, we're bringing back some of the cast to reenact iconic scenes we've seen before. I get that this appears to be a deliberate, meta approach, but it feels very inward to me for such a still somewhat unexplored IP.

All signals point to definitely. It can't be as bad as the second or third one can it?!

It's not as bad as I feared, but obviously not a patch on the original. There's plenty of throwback nostalgia nods to the original, although some of it is overdone, with trying to basically just replicate particular scenes. My teenage niece, who has only seen the original once, also enjoyed it. Although it is better than the first two sequels, it would hold no re-watch value for me.

I absolutely despise "throwbacks", "nods" and "winks". Let a movie just be its own movie. Disappointed to hear this movie is full of them.

Watched this last night.

I thought it was mostly what I was expecting. More love story than I would have liked or cared about, some of the special effects didnt look great, other special effects looked good. Can't say I cared much about the story overall as I found it fairly uninteresting
