The post conveys a strong emotional response but lacks clarity and structure, making it difficult to follow. Additionally, it could benefit from a more thoughtful analysis and less aggressive language to foster constructive discussion.

Sickening abuse of power by morons in a position of power abusing that position. Something we sadly see the world over evidencing how inhuman we can be if we get the chance.

All the videos are here: City of Memphis

Basically they pull him over for reasons that are never even alluded to, then start being aggressive with him while he's complying despite their conflicting demands (like get on the ground and lie down while he's already doing that). Eventually he gets away after they fire a taser at him but they catch up to him and beat the shit out of him, kick him in the head, beat him with batons, repeatedly pepper spray him, etc. all while saying stuff like "gives us your hands" while they are literally holding him up so another cop can punch him in the head.

Not sure I want to watch it.

I won't be watching it. The description and response of the police chief was quite enough for me

Truly horrific and distrubing.

The street Cam video is shocking beyond words.

The lad was completely subdued yet they were picking him up and using him as a punchbag. Shouldn't be surprised but I don't understand why it's not a first degree murder charge.

I think there is more to come out about this. You get the feeling it was a predetermined or revenge attack the way it is carried out.

I've only seen part of the video. Hope the five of them are jailed for life.

Hearing Tyre Nichols calling out for his mum as he's beaten to death is just too much :(

I can't seem to fathom why this has happened?

Is there something underlying here? Police brutality has been linked partly to racism before but in this case its diminished by the perpetrators being black.

Why did those 5 police officers beat an innocent guy they didn't know to death? And surely they knew it would be getting captured on their bodycam equipment?

I've not watched the videos and I don't plan to either.

My friend saw it, he thinks there must have been a previous issue and it seemed very personal. Exact words "looks like they are taking out vengeance". Don't know if he is right or wrong.
