Werewolf by Night (2022) Movie Thread

I liked this. Just a one-off Monster/Monster hunter special for Halloween. You don't need to have seen any other Marvel show or movie. I think the way they filmed it and the production was really good. Has a reverence to old Hollywood monster films but the action and dialogue is modern, so it isn't just trying to emulate.

Can easily see some of these characters show up to hunt with Blade, or Moon Knight etc. later on now that this corner is open.

This has really good reviews - and I like that it's a homage to classic horror cinema.

Will watch it over the weekend.

I enjoyed it because they nailed the hammer horror feel. I'd much rather watch stuff like this than 99% of marvel stuff personally.

I really enjoyed it - there's not loads to the story being only 55 minutes and relatively self contained but the premise was good in the sense that it meant we could get to the action quickly. I enjoyed the characters and as everyone has said, they absolutely nailed the aesthetic and feel of an old hammer horror movie.

Thought it was really good. Nicely shot and the transition into colour was done well, too.

This actually is in my opinion the best thing Marvel have done on Disney+

Disney has released it in colour for Halloween.
