I enjoyed it, I have seen the stage show twice so knew the basics of the story. The sets were good, the CGI was a tiny bit ropey in parts though. Songs are good as expected.

The two leads were cracking, Grande did a very good job of channelling Chenoweth. The casting of Jeff Goldblum was genius. Some of the other casting I felt didn't work Michelle Yeoh for example. But overall really enjoyable.

I'm late to the party, I only saw this only yesterday.

I'm a big fan of musicals in general and the stage version of Wicked in particular. So no surprise that I really liked it. And it didn't feel long at all.

A big, vibrant, colourful production, a feast for the eyes. There was always something to catch my attention.

I thought the whole cast did well. Cynthia Eviro is a powerhouse and the star of the show for me. Ariana Grande is annoyingly hilarious (or hilariously annoying ) and Jonathan Bailey adds a bit of "Prince Charming" to the mix. The roles of Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum aren't big enough and could have been played by any actor, just feels they went for recognisable names anyway.

Overall, I'm very happy that I caught it in the cinema, and looking forward to the second part.
