The Rascor Plains - Book 2 of Immortal Great Souls by Phil Tucker. It's a very nice progression fantasy set in a intriguing world. Liked it.

All the Skills by HonorRae - A card based deck building LitRPG. Haven't come across this mechanic before. Really interesting and fun read.

Ah nice, feels like it's been ages. Didn't realise this was the last in the series. Will refresh on book 11 and start this today!

Waybound is awesome. Fast-paced, with lots of action, good character ARC development for many side characters, and a lovely ending.

Fantastic! Can't wait to get back into Cradle

AWWP is set in the same universe and follows similar trajectories as the other Er Gen novels, RI, ISSTH, PotT (which I've not yet read), and AWE. Indeed, Wang Lin, the MC of Renegade Immortal, plays a huge role in AWWP and Meng Hao of ISSTH is referenced in passing. That said, I enjoyed more the earlier novels, especially AWE.

Finished Lord of the Mysteries by Cuttlefish.

I don't have enough words to describe how completely different this book is from the traditional cultivation stories I've read so far by Er Gen and IET. At least as absorbing as the best from Er Gen or IET, and much much more complex. It blew me away.

A couple of important things to note. First, I found the start very very slow, in part because we are introduced to a new world and learn the rules of this world along with the MC, and in part because it is so different from the straightforward cultivation stories I'm used to. When you start it, I'll urge that you ignore the slow start and push on. Second, LotM is only part one of a wider trilogy, according to the author. The second book in the series, Circle of Inevitability, is being serialized at the moment, 325 chapters out. I intend to wait for the end of CoI before binging it.
