Been awake all night, a thunder & lightning storm has been raging for the past 4 hours. Some of the thunder claps have honestly been the loudest I've ever heard. And the rain has been relentless since it started about an hour later. Doesn't look like I'll be sleeping tonight.
It was. I said to Mrs Dylan that it sounded like what I'd imagine bombs would sound like going off during an air raid. The long, echoy "bangs" along with bright flashes lighting up the sky certainly made for a war-like scene.
It is very warm, albeit wet, this morning. The temperature gauge is reading 18C already.
It definitely was a wild night but it is very sunny and warm today
