Software updates, app updates, game updates/patches, TV app updates that give no or very little details about what has actually changed/been fixed/new features.

Guilty conscience?

Nay, mainly Xbox game updates - I never find any patch notes, anywhere!

Cancelling Sky.

You can add packages, upgrade etc at the click of a button online. You have to search long and hard online to find the number to call to cancel, then talk to the robot that cannot understand you, then wait on hold for "at least twenty minutes".

Those really clean wee paper cuts that WON'T stop bleeding. Got one about 2mm long earlier on and you'd think there'd been an axe murder.

Adverts on TV that has a doorbell ringing in them quietly in the background. If I am not paying attention I'm left thinking there someone at the door. The worst one is the British Gas ad right at the end

A woman walked past my house earlier, around about lunchtime, in her dressing gown and a pair of slippers, puffing away on a cigarette.

Now I don't consider myself a snob and don't expect people to be dressed to the nines to pop to the shop for a loaf of bread and a paper, but surely a minimum level of self-respect and decorum dictates at least put some clothes on to leave the house in broad daylight?

HMRC (and their lack of joined-up thinking)

Receive an e-mail this morning - "you have a new message, log-in to read it"

Log-in to HMRC, navigate to Messages - "you have a new Tax Statement"

Click through - "your new Statement will be available in four days time"

So why not send me the e-mail in 4 days time FFS?

When I worked for the Civil Service it was quite common for them to send out a letter to let you know they were going to send you a letter.
