Rangers comfortably beat Celtic today in the Old Firm derby. Not really surprised by the result to be honest. Steven Gerrard has built a decent squad and Celtic have been adding mediocre players for the past few seasons. Celtic are trying to make it 10 league titles in a row this year but I think Rangers will run them much closer and might even win the league.

I don't know who does the recruitment for Celtic but some of their buys, especially strikers, has been very hit and miss - mostly miss!!

Still not convinced bring back Neil Lennon was the best moved for either the club or him - they haven't progressed at all.

A much better performance by Celtic today against Motherwell. A good win, Elyounoussi was excellent.

Looked stronger in defence with Ajer back but still far from being solid. Need the full backs to tone down their attacking play, the 2 of them pushed so far forward leaves us very open. Elhamed should probably get a run of games to help us there.

I think we need to choose between Brown and McGregor, the 2 together doesn't work.

But overall a good performance and result, need to build on this and get the confidence back

Yes, I agree. Celtic have been shocking. I think the board got complacent after winning the league again and again. It was only a matter of time before Rangers closed the gap and now they look like the better team.

Neil Lennon probably won't last much longer either though I'm not too bothered about that.

Borussia Dortmund have sacked manager Lucien Favre after they lost 5-1 at home to newly-promoted Stuttgart at the weekend.

Thomas Tuchel has been sacked by Paris Saint-Germain with the French champions sitting in third in the Ligue 1 standings after 17 matches.

PSG's form wasn't good this season but it feels like Leonardo used that to oust him. Tuchel and him weren't on good terms.

Overall, I think Tuchel's reputation will come out intact. He dealt with the egos in the dressing room very well. He got quite a lot out of players such as Kean and Choupo-Moting. Bernat originally looked a poor acquisition yet he turned him into one of the best LBs in Europe, prior to his unfortunate injury.

Pochettino seems the favourite to replace him. That makes sense given his ties to the club. Also if they are after Messi next summer which Neymar has been lobbying for, having an Argentinian at the helm might help in that pursuit. Pochettino has previously said he'd like to work with him.

In Scotland, Rangers beat Old Firm rivals Celtic 1-0 to move 19 points clear in the league and all but end Celtic's hopes of winning a record 10th consecutive title.
