Won the work lotto this week and being Christmas week it is a double jackpot

Receiving an email from a friend who moved to Italy a few years ago. I had been worried that I hadn't heard from her for several months.

Not just today but in general, getting up early when I'm off and having the TV and living room to myself for a couple of hours before the rest of the house wakes up. I'll make a coffee and watch something on catch-up with the heating on or just read the kindle with only one lamp on. Absolute bliss.

I found my iPod Nano that I hadn't seen in over 4 years and listening to old tunes I hadn't heard it ages. Somehow I got lost in my own little world walking in the park and was singing to myself at the pedestrian crossing. Saw a man looking at me......mortified.

He just gave a nod and smile and we walked our separate ways. Sing to your heart's content
