Heavy rain and thunder today. I'd definitely say our summer is over.

What a horrible day. Storm Austen has flexed its muscles and Storm Boelo is waiting in the wings to wreak more havoc tomorrow.

Storm Boelo has hit us hard tonight. Very strong winds and torrential rain. Flooding, fences and trees down.

Just had the dog out, had to go find my blue bin who decided to go for its own walk.

Fair few felled trees again here too.

Still very windy and wet.

The neighbours' fence out the back has gone. I've acquired a Halloween spider net in my front garden.

Thankfully, all calm this morning and no more damage or disruption. I think there is another weather warning for later today and tomorrow with more high winds and heavy rain.

Bins were blown over. Another storm seems to have started now but hopefully that's the worst of it. I used to love a good storm as a kid but when you own a house in hurricane valley they're not so much fun.
