A playable demo for Where the Seeds Fall is out now on Steam, alongside a new cinematic trailer for Cygames' game.

The trailer shows more of the gameplay loop, including navigating crumbling architecture and making leaps into the depths that require strategy. The game follows a soldier trying to escape the World Tree with a Fell Child, a being said to be a portent of Doom but who looks just like his daughter.

Cygames has described the game's world as melancholic, with a distinctive art style. The trailer also points to hostile encounters that can be handled aggressively or with a quieter approach.

Where the Seeds Fall is also coming to PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2, in addition to PC. A November 5 release date has been set, although it is not known whether the demo will appear on other platforms before launch.
