Episode one will premiere on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 9pm on Sunday 29 August, with episode two at 9pm on the Bank Holiday Monday, 30 August. Vigil will then continue each Sunday night, with new episodes premiering weekly on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. It is 6 part.

It's been quite disappointing really, I'd hoped for better and on paper, it could have made a good series but it's woeful, I actually nodded off briefly during last nights episode. Antiques Roadshow, broadcast before it was more gripping

My wife also fell asleep during the episode.

Bit of a strange last episode. The main plot was concluded with about half the episode to go. The final twenty minutes felt drawn out with lots of slow-paced dialogue which could have all been surmised in about 5 minutes.
