Inventing Anna TV Thread

I watched the first episode of this and enjoyed it quite a bit so far. It's mostly set up surrounding the trial of Anna Delvey (a.k.a. Anna Sorokin) and the magazine journalist fighting to investigate the story.

There's a quote in the trailer that isn't given in full: "she is everything that's wrong with America right now....and she's not even American". This is important because Anna's "exotic" accent helps to fool the cream of New York society into thinking that she's an important European.

Watched the first two episodes of this. It's pretty good and Julia Garner has such a great screen presence, you're just drawn to her. I'm not sure what is going on with her accent but that's more than likely the idea. It's hard to believe she got away with for so long in the internet age.
