Monaco is going to be interesting, even with Mercedes' upgrades I'm not sure I see them doing any better than previous races. Maybe they are hoping they can get a podium.

I would say this is Alonso's best chance of a race win this season, he is good on this track.

Verstappen and Perez can't rely on their pure straight-line speed here, hard track to pass on, and only a few places you can and I would Favour Perez on a street circuit.

Quite an eventful couple of practice sessions today.

Hulkenberg clouted the barriers on his way into the Nouvelle Chicane which sends him into a spin and produced a red flag.

Alex Albon smashed the barriers at Turn One and he wrecked the left side of his Williams.

Carlos Sainz clips the inside corner on the exit of the Swimming Pool with his right front, breaks his front suspension and can do nothing as he ends up in the barriers.

Alonso looks like he is on it.

This is supposed to be Red Bull's weakest track...and Verstappen is fastest!

Love or hate Monaco, that was the best Q3 for a long time.

Leclerc has a 3 place grid penalty. Impeding Norris in the tunnel. Ferrari really seems to have problems informing their drivers what is happening out there.

Disaster for Perez starting last. He is Verstappen's only real challenger this year

Brundle is gold on the grid. Asking Thibaut Courtois if he is rooting for his fellow Spaniards Alonso and Sainz 🤦‍♂️ :ROFLMAO:

He missed out on Adrian Newey and Eddie Jordan to speak to Thiabot Courtois and call him Spanish

Brilliant Ayrton Senna feature on Sky F1 earlier. He was a master at Monaco and produced one of the best qualifying laps ever in 1988.

Interesting strategy for Alonso, hopefully he can keep Ocon behind after lap 1

Mixed strategies, could be interesting.
