Frasier (2023) TV Thread

Kelsey Grammer is back as Frasier after 20 years. First two episodes of the new series of "Frasier" are out now on Paramount+.

I personally loved them but appreciate that rebooting a great series without any of the previous supporting characters is going to be a hard sell for others. Niles in particular is a huge miss. Nicholas Lyndhurst (Rodney from Only Fools) also stars.

I watched the first episode with very few expectations. And thought it was really good. Felt rather natural which is not easy when you take a well known character and place him in a totally new show with totally new characters.

I liked it. It felt like Frasier

I enjoyed the first two episodes. It will take a few episodes to really help but a promising start.

Didn't realise it was a new episode every Friday. Thought the first two showed a lot of promise, might wait until they're all released before watching the rest.

I did read episode 4 onwards is classic Frasier.

I thought it was pretty much excellent - felt like they hit the old tone pretty much from the start and set things up quite well for the rest of the season.

Episode 3 was a step in the right direction and a good improvement. The show is starting to get into its stride now and sidelining the younger characters, who are kind of one dimensional anyway, was a good choice. I definitely got a few good laughs from it.
