Visually it looks very, very impressive. Had to turn it off before it finished though as it was giving too much of the film away

The first reviews are very good. Looking forward to seeing this tomorrow night.

The end was a bit dragged out but overall I thought it was a very good Alien movie. Can't complain about that. I enjoyed it a lot.

It was OK. A bit slow at times. Some good laughs in it. Plenty of tension which is good but you never really care about the characters which I think is a pity.

I thought it was a little dragged out do and could have easily been 20 minutes shorter. There are plenty of easter eggs and callbacks to both Alien and Alien's do which is good.

I really enjoyed this. I would say there was probably one too many callbacks to previous movies. It played like a greatest hits of the first four films.

I didn't expect the cast to be so young. I kept waiting for the grown-ups to appear. But they were good, especially the lead actress.

Loved the grungy production design. I liked how it took its time to get to the action. Great pace to the second half and some very good set pieces.

Well, this really surprised me.

Good throwback references and they did a great job with the world, that slavery feeling along with the industrial vibe as well.

The set design was nailed, completely on point and very impressive. Good moments of terror as well, just like Alien and Aliens. The references to the older movies, I enjoyed, but I am a sucker for stuff like that so I do have bias in that realm.

It wasn't perfect, some of the characters were a tad wooden, I think the 2 main characters did a pretty good job of it though.

So, yeah really surprised by how good this all was. An Alien movie we really needed, and long over due.

I've enjoyed every Aliens movie to date. Just love xenomorphs and they will never not freak me out!

This one was no exception. Enjoyed the nods (both subtle and scream-in-your-face obvious) to the originals. Great to hear that pulse rifle going off again. Also, the face huggers getting more of a starring role was a good concept.

I finally saw this last night.

I enjoyed it. It is probably closer to Alien and maybe Alien 3 in look and tone but also borrowed ideas from the rest of the films.

Not sure where I'd place it overall, but it's definitely better than the prequels and Resurrection

The first half is stronger than the second. It goes a bit bonkers.

By the time the final boss appears looking absolutely ridiculous/hilarious I was already getting ready to leave. A good back story to the characters and the zero gravity acid scene was well done but nothing new really in this film.

As reboots/sequels go, it's pretty good. I liked the visual aesthetic - very Alien/Blade Runner/Outland. Just a shame that the characters weren't more memorable.
