Probably not the best title but what movies, no matter when you watch them, never fail to bring that feeling of magic?

Sharon Stone, Robert DeNiro. Looks magical on film but Las Vegas is apparently a suburban nightmare in the desert.

Nonetheless, the Hollywood incarnation never fails to capture my imagination. Neon lights, fast women, fast living, "Welcome to wonderful Las Vegas".

When the winter starts setting in, it is time for Fargo to go on. What a movie. As good as the TV programme is, the original is still the best. Jerry Lundegaard is just a hilarious pathetic nutjob.

Also, like a bit of Runaway Train too in the winter. You can feel the icy cold weather in that through the telly.

Any Monty Python film, really, but especially Holy Grail and Life of Brian.

Star Wars : A New Hope (I just pretend the rest never happened)

A lot of early Spielberg like Jaws and Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

"Lost in Translation" and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" - I've probably watched these more than any other (I'm not a big re-watcher of anything but I'd say I've seen them both at least 10 times over the years)

Pretty much anything with Robin Williams in it, funny or serious - I loved that man, what a terrible loss to the world!
