The trailer brings a mix of in-game footage, and in-engine footage, though sadly we didn't quite get to see how the game is going to be played. We also did not get a release date, or even a target so were sort of back to square one.

Xbox has officially announced that the release has been delayed to February 2027. Initially, this RPG was expected to hit the shelves this autumn for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. However, the specific release date was never confirmed until now.



The decision to delay this comes amid a packed release schedule for Xbox. It seems that they want to ensure that Fable meets the high expectations set by fans and doesn't get lost in the shuffle of other game launches.

Mark your calendars because Fable is set to launch on February 23rd, 2027! Fans of the original game will be excited to hear that the notorious antagonist, Jack of Blades, may be making a comeback. But that's not all - there's more in store for us after the game launches!

Introducing the post-launch story expansion titled "Order of the Hero." According to the official announcement, players will delve into the secrets of a dark, ancient cult that lurks within the enchanting yet perilous landscapes of Albion. This new region promises to be filled with danger and intrigue, as it seems to harbor some long-lost, mysterious powers.

While we don't have a release date for "Order of the Hero" just yet, it will be included in the Premium Edition of the game.
