It appears that fans hoping for a physical version of the game to be released after its digital launch may be in for disappointment. According to the latest information, there are "no plans for a post-launch physical release, not at launch, and not months later."

When Rockstar Support referred to a "physical copy," they were actually talking about the version that will be available in a box containing just a download code, rather than a traditional disc.

The term "physical version" has raised eyebrows among fans, as many feel it is misleading if there's no actual disc involved. So, if you're looking to play GTA 6, be prepared to download it instead.

Additionally, there have been reports from a Polish website claiming that a disc version would be released in December, but this has also been proven incorrect.
