Looking for some recommendations for the dark nights and winter months.

I really don't mind subtitles but I'm not too keen on dubbing. Mostly Scandinavian Noir crime and political shows that I've watched but will watch most genres.

I'm watching another French show called Lupin at the moment.

French audio and English subtitles but the English audio is too American.

Deutschland 83, 86, 89 are decent. They were all on All 4 last time I looked.

Signal. Korean murder investigation in which a police officer in 2016 finds he can communicate by radio with a police officer in 1989. They start working together on cold cases. Brilliantly done, with lots of twists along the way.



It was remade last year as a Japanese series, so take your pick.

100% this. The best non English speaking series I've ever watched.

Others worth a mention: Spiral, Forbrydelsen (original and best version of The Killing), Borgen, Trapped

Just finished Sloborn (Walter Presents C4) Series 1- recommended.

Don't know how I missed Bordertown (Sorjonen) before, but catching up on it, half way through Season 2. Really enjoyable.
