Finally saw this at the weekend and can only echo what others have said. Brilliantly done. 5/5.

What a great, engrossing and surprising film! I wasn't expecting pure escapism and was pleasantly surprised and compelled! See it on the biggest screen possible as the cinematography and set piece/anchoring scenes all look great.

Seems to have sprung up on Netflix out of nowhere but not complaining. Fantastic movie.

Nice. I'll watch this agian. One of my favourite films from the last couple of years.

It's a really enjoyable film. Outside of the obvious WWII setting and its many references, its good to see a Godzilla movie actually have a fully developed charismatic cast and plays itself relatively straight along the way.

Its something that has been lacking in the majority of Kaiju movies, let alone specific ones based on Godzilla, that the human characters are at the forefront here and are actually equally more enjoyable on screen than the giant radioactive lizard dude. It was that aspect of Shin Godzilla that was largely forgettable. The evolution of Godzilla in Shin was hugely entertaining, twisted and captivating but the blandness of the human characters and their goals left alot to be desired. That's simply not the case with Yamazaki's Minus One. It's a human story and that's largely why its a success.
