It's described as a philosophical horror.

A film of two halves really..

.. and it lost it's way towards the end!

But Hugh Grant continues to shine in an uneven, yet fun, performance

Really enjoyed the first half and was really disappointed by the second half. The acting was top-notch but was let down by a poor script.

Very entertaining for about 80% of the movie and Hugh Grant is brilliant in it, funny and creepy all at the same time. As per usual however with A24 movies, the ending was meh. Fully understand what they tried to do, but it was just a bit poor.

Hugh Grant plays an affable villian. One of his best performances.

In a year that was barren for top-tier horror films, this one stands out from the crowd.
