Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 1 (2024) Movie Thread

I've read a lot of negativity abouth this but I thought this was actually very good.

Some of the visuals are amazing. I can see why some people won't like it though. Telling 3/4 different stories at once so there is a bit of jumping around. It's a 3 hour watch but does not feel like it. Looking forward to the part 2.

And the last few minutes of the movie is like a preview of the next film, in case anyone is wondering whats going on.

Obviously, this is aimed primarily at the US market and given the lack of advertising this will pass under a lot of peoples radar.

It looks beautiful, but meanders a lot between the different story threads. Many may find it unfocused, but I loved it, did not feel three hours.

The two minute montage at the end makes me look forward for part two.
