Currently in closed beta. Hopefully the AI is better than some of the reports I've seen from early builds and that they have improved the UI from previous games.

The highly anticipated Killing Floor 3 has officially launched for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, offering players a chance to dive back into the chaotic world of Zed-slaying. Set in the year 2091, players join the Nightfall team to battle against the Horzine corporation's relentless hordes. The game has successfully built on its predecessor with a wealth of new content and features.

As part of its Year 1 roadmap, Tripwire Interactive has outlined an ambitious plan to expand the game significantly. The first update, known as the Rearmament Update, will introduce a fresh approach by decoupling perks from Specialists, alongside three new weapons: the M14 EBR Mod 0, MKR-350 Assault Rifle, and Streik Dual Defender Shotgun. This update is expected to enhance gameplay quality through performance improvements and additional mods.



Subsequent seasons promise even more excitement:

• Season 2 will introduce a new Specialist, DJ Scully, along with a new map called Prison, new Zeds, weapons, and assignments.
• Season 3 is set to release in 2026, featuring another new map, Research Base, along with additional weapons and a new enemy.
• Season 4 will bring the Gunslinger perk into play, as well as yet another map, boss, and new assignments.

In the immediate future, players can look forward to hotfixes and updates aimed at improving balance, introducing new difficulty settings, and adding text chat functionality. The launch trailer provides an exciting glimpse into the action-packed gameplay awaiting fans of the series.
