Watched this last night, heard it was great but I'd lower that to decent.

It built up the suspense and mystery, but then it just ended with very little explained.

I quite enjoyed it although the girl and her Friends obsession was annoying. All the children were annoying actually so standard Hollywood there.

One of my favorite books of the past few years - really hoping the movie doesn't overdramatize the quiet understated dread of the story, as that's what makes it so good.

Started well. Nice cineamatograhy. Good cast. Went nowhere with lots of unexplained plot threads and a disappointing end.

I liked it. It is decent. Nothing more.

Thought it was pretty shit to be fair. The actual plot is paper thin, because they choose to focus on the interaction between the characters and they did that badly. Still, it does manage to build up quite some suspense. In the end, all suspense, no substance film for me

This started off promising, but really went downhill, and ended up nowhere particularly interesting. Kind of sad considering the cast for this one.

Excellent premise, good opening, then it slowly deteriorates to a rubbish conclusion
