I'm not blown away, but there's enough there for me to listen to it a few more times through. Auntie Diaries and We Cry Together are the two that stood out the most on first listen - the former cause it was great, the latter cause it was different.

Gave it a listen yesterday, I like him but am not a massive fan.

I don't really like this album. Maybe it will grow on me a bit how To Pimp A Butterfly grew on me, but my first impression is that it's not that great. The other thing with Kendrick (which may be a heretic to say) is sometimes his lyrics and delivery are next level and other times its kinda annoying.

Yeah, I'm with you on that. I am underwhelmed.

I understand his appeal and his talent but it doesn't do an awful lot for me.

I do like Auntie Dairies though, didn't expect a song like that.

I've listened to it all the way through 3 times now. It's alright.

I don't dislike it, by any stretch. But I'm not finding it very entertaining either. It's one of those where you'll get just as much out of reading about it on Genius as actually listening to it.

I'm not finding this as immediately engaging as either To Pimp a Butterly or Damn. There are some stunning tunes on it though, particularly in the second half of the album.

Going to give this another few listens but I'm really not sure about this one. Feels like his albums are dipping in quality since TPAB (understandably, to be fair).

Really enjoying it. It does get better on repeated listens. N95 is a huge song and I'm really enjoying how that's put together. My other personal favourites are Die Hard, Purple Hearts, Mother I Sober (what a song), and Mirror. In truth, there's not a lot to dislike here.

We Cry Together is one that is going to take some getting used to. Not a personal favourite, but that might change over time.
