I've just been informed that the Hogmanay celebrations in Edinburgh have been cancelled due to the weather.

We are still going to have our Hogmanay event and we will still celebrate indoors instead of out in the street if required.

Tattu have confirmed that they will still be open and our booking will still go ahead.

We understand if some of you would rather not venture out on Hogmanay due to the forecast weather so get in touch if you've paid for dinner and would like a refund.

We won't let the weather dampen our Hogmanay celebrations!!

I think tonight into tomorrow is to be the worst. I guess they had to make a decision about public safety and making sure they were properly prepared for large crowds.

I don't think they had any other choice. The windy really picked up during the night and the rain has been torrential too.

I think it has to ease up in the afternoon so hopefully we will enjoy ourselves tonight.
