Xbox has announced that the cost of consoles, games and accessories will be going up across multiple regions starting today. This includes an $80 price hike for the Xbox Series S and $100 price hike for the Xbox Series X in the US, and a £50 price hike for the Xbox Series S and £20 price hike for the Xbox Series X in the UK.
Additionally, some upcoming Xbox first-party games will now be launching at an increased price of $79.99.

Microsoft says that it understands "these changes are challenging" for Xbox fans, and that "they were made with careful consideration given market conditions and the rising cost of development".
Regions with currencies that haven't been listed by the company today are still getting increases (although we don't know to what extent yet). As things stand, there's no sign of a price increase for Xbox Game Pass.
