Blatantly obvious that this started off as a Star Wars spin-off, but it looks like it has potential. Bit weird to see Daario Naharises 1 and 2 on-screen at the same time.

Rebel Moon: A Child of Fire will have a limited theatrical run starting on December 15, 2023, and will premiere on Netflix on December 22, 2023.

Rebel Moon is awful. I'll still watch part 2 though because I'm a sucker for sci-fi but this was a huge letdown.

Thought it started getting a bit better towards the end, so talks of a trilogy are encouraging. It was slow in places but overall a decent watch. Would definitely watch the second part when it comes out.

Poor. I watched about 20 minutes then couldn't bare anymore. No way I was gonna sit through 2 hours of that.

This is Star Wars meets the Seven Samurai, with a touch of Dune and whole bunch nicked movie set pieces from Sci-fi.

Hell they even have a Free Willy moment!

It maybe worked for Quentin Tarantino to nick others stuff but he was smart enough not to do it with Sci-fi. The people who watch Sci-fi remember things!
