This is the worst Italian team I've seen. Completely ineffectual up top
Really dont understand why so many pundits thought Italy would win this and possibly even go all the way to the final. It's like they didn't watch any of the games before it.
It's the classic "they'll come good when it matters" trap. Looks like this is the best Italy can play though. 4 games and 4 slow, shitty football from them.

A boost for Germany as defender Antonio Rudiger starts, despite being a doubt for this game. Centre-back Jonathan Tah is suspended so Nico Schlotterbeck starts alongside Rudiger. Borussia Dortmund striker Niclas Fullkrug is among the substitutes again, despite two goals in Germany's three games so far from off the bench.
Christian Eriksen sat out training yesterday with a stomach issue but he starts in midfield for Denmark. Morten Hjulmand - who scored against England in the group stage - is suspended so misses out while Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund, still waiting for his first goal at Euro 2024, leads the attack once again.
