This Netflix documentary is a real eye opener on the worldwide fishing industry.

It covers the slaughter of sharks for their fins or simply as extraneous catch, whales and dolphins killed illegally on a huge scale, corruption throughout the industry, how the plastics that are killing the fish is mainly generated by the fishing industry itself, how the fishing trawlers are destroying the seabed and the plants that are maintaining our environment.

The stand out statement is that sustainable fishing is a myth. Even fish farming needs to kill more fish than are produced. It's predicted that by 2048 commercial fishing will not be viable and the only answer is for everyone to stop eating fish.
