I generally liked this one - it's a much more authentic, gruelling take on the story than the more Hollywood-ified Alive was. It has several pretty raw, difficult setpieces, and it does not tone down the extreme conditions and moral quandaries the survivors had to endure.

Watched this last night.

Definite recommend. Been a long time since I saw Alive, but this felt a lot more engaging and authentic. Great acting in it too, so much of the story is told with looks and expression rather than dialogue.

I'm sure its probably dramatised for the movie in stages but the human instinct for survival is incredible.

 

[Black Sheep]

This is the most powerful drama I've seen on Netflix. Based on a true story of heroic endurance and comradeship. Sticks closely to the facts and the actors are wonderful. Prepare for a gruelling couple of hours of viewing and don't book any flights until you get the crash scene out of your head.

I highly recommend this, it was excellent. It will have you crying and laughing and doing both at the same time and you will have a lump in your throat too. It's very emotional. Best film I am seen in a long time.

This had me gripped from beginning to end but I wouldn't watch it while eating.
